His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. — Matthew 25:21

During a recent housecleaning binge, I came across several old church directories dating back to the 1980s. As I thumbed through them, I couldn’t help noticing how many of the senior saints pictured in them have gone home to heaven. One face belonged to Edna Hoyle. I remember a Sunday worship service when Edna shared with our pastor her heart’s desire to be a prayer warrior. Some time after that, as our church prepared for revival, she offered her tiny apartment for an
afternoon prayer meeting. Only three of us gathered that day; but what a marvelous experience! Edna did not have much in the way of material resources. But what a magnificent treasure God placed in her hands — a passion to pray! She managed that resource well.

FATHER, MAY I BE FAITHFUL IN MANAGING YOUR RESOURCES.
